Grace Palmer, 23, cut her teeth as a recurring character in New Zealand soap opera Shortland Street, before landing her first Hollywood film role in upcoming flick Adrift, which hits screens June 1.

Palmer stars opposite Shailene Woodley and Sam Claflin in the American romance drama, which follows the true story of a couple stranded in the middle of the Pacific Ocean with no communication or navigation tools. Continuing her focus on the film industry, Palmer will next be seen playing the lead role in Kiwi thriller My Name Is Heather, set to be released this year.
